VIOLIN LESSONS IN LONGMONT
with Jordan M. Holloway

Jordan M. Holloway offers beginning and intermediate violin lessons for students aged 11 and above. With fourteen years of violin experience and twelve years of teaching experience, Jordan brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the learning process to each lesson. He holds a degree in Viola Performance and regularly performs in chamber ensembles and string quartets throughout the Colorado Front Range.
Jordan’s teaching philosophy centers on building strong fundamentals while fostering a genuine enjoyment of music-making. Students are encouraged to explore repertoire that excites and motivates them while developing healthy technique, note reading skills, intonation, rhythm, tone production, and effective practice habits. Lessons are tailored to the goals and experience level of each student, whether they are learning violin for the first time or seeking to strengthen existing skills.
Having grown up in Longmont and attended schools within the St. Vrain Valley School District, Jordan remains actively involved in local music education and regularly coaches student musicians at Altona Middle School. He is passionate about helping students build confidence, discipline, and creativity through music study. Jordan also teaches composition and piano, and upon special request, music theory and conducting.
